Kai and his papa, Hans, are busy working on the house this weekend and I’m finishing up on my TESOL capstone requirement and preparing for our yard sale planned for next weekend, but I thought I would quickly share some of our most recent great finds.  We’ll give more details in future posts, but here’s a quick run down:

Cycling Stuff

Kai’s Power Grips (from eBay at half of the retail price, labelled “used” but they were brand new) & MKS Sylvan Touring Pedals

Wee House Stuff

We recently found this exterior door abandoned on the side of the road so we went back with the trailer to grab it.  It should make a perfect front door for the Wee House, once we do a little trimming, replace the glass, scrape, sand, and paint it.

As college students make their mass exodus from town for the summer, they often leave free stuff (like the perfectly good fridge below) on the greenbelts.  We’ve cleaned it up and may use it in the Wee House temporarily, until we return from our cycling tour and can invest in something more energy efficient.

And our Little Cod, delivered on Wednesday, which will heat our Wee House.  Isn’t she cute?!
